This program explores changes in the disability support system and discusses future planning with a family-centered approach.

Carers Victoria in partnership with Aspire Support Services is looking to run 4 NDIS Information Sessions for Carers in mid July in Albury/Wodonga.

The program consists of four sessions, each of three hours in duration.

Session1: Preparing for change

Session 2: Adapting to change

Session 3: Managing the change

Session 4: Making your voice heard

Brenda Gabe Biennial Leadership Award Nomination Opportunity for Women with Disabilities in Victoria

Nominees must be Women with Disabilities in Victoria who contribute to the benefit of women with disability and or to making a more inclusive community in Victoria The winner receives $2,000 towards a capacity building project or professional developmen. Nominations close 7th August 2017

NDIS Transition Support Package Information Sheet

NDIS Transition Support Package Information Sheet 16 provider and consumer peak organisations in Victoria have been funded to support people with a disability, their family and carers and service providers transition to the NDIS. Organisations will focus on 3 areas Service Provider Readiness, Participant Readiness and Family/Carer Readiness. An Information Sheet is available to provide information on the organisations and what information sessions they will be running.
